  The Rehabilitation and Employment Program

Mobilization of those of low-income communities is a major challenge that requires concerted efforts by all sectors of our society. The Tkiyet will adopt training programs in different fields that serve the 42 poverty areas in Jordan considered as poor and underprivileged. As we train and empower the poor and unemployed, develop their skills and provide them with hands-on experiences, the Tkiyet will market their services and initially offer them the means and tools for implementation. This project will be a start to address social capital investments and addressing this target groups’ needs, enhancing their capabilities and providing them with long term self-sustaining solutions.

Medyaf is one of the projects under this program that is specialized in food and beverage catering , and aims to rehabilitate beneficiaries and train them in order to deliver a five star service to conferences, weddings, ceremonies or any other related occasions.

Medyaf project has already trained around 140 members in order to provide them with permanent jobs and sustainable source of income.

Future plans for the project indicates that the number of poor familiars which will benefit from this project will increase and will reach the limit of one thousand families by the end of next year, as the project will reach all major cities of Jordan.
